I don't break the rules. I just bend them... alot.

breaking the rules is something i don't like doing. it goes against the grain of my soul.

bending the rules on the other hand is something completely different. it has to have alot with how i was raised but i don't feel bad at all bending the rules. i think i'm actually quite good at it. i can easily be one of the exceptions where ever i go. i have noticed this one trend.

i think the line between bending and breacking the rules is thin but doesn't depend on the action or thing itself. it all depends on the motive behind what you do. the letter of the law vs the heart of the law. as long as you know where the heart of the law is, that underlining thing that is trying to be avoided by making the law in the first place, that is the heart. as long as you don't step on that, intentionally or unintentionally, you can get around alot. all of man's laws are flawed in the fact that they restrict us from doing more than is actually intended. never get caught up in rules. look at the heart or the reason behind it.

the down side is, i often find myself doing this with God's law as well.

I think I agree. And I think God's laws are the same way. That's why we have Christ, so we don't have to follow them anymore. It all boils down to loving God and people. That's a pretty big discussion though.
