"Let me use this space to harpe on something that cannot get harped on enough. I have wondered in the past" what is the purpose of my existance. NOw you may not know me but will you please do yourself a favor and think about what life is like after death. The idea of heaven or hell may come up. Hopefully if you do not know what I am talking about yet then this topic should distress you, for there is no denying eternity and what you will be doing after you are dead. And sooner than you think, you will view you life on earth as a tiny particle of time while you are rotting in you grave or roasting in hell or playing another hym on your golden harp on a cloud somewhere. NOw enough of worldy perspective. I have found the truth. This is how it is: THe truth that everyone questions so ignorantly. And that there is a God that loves us enough to laid down his own in order save us. And there is a devil who hates us to the point that it would take the death of the son of God to save us from his hold on our eternal future. but the bible says that when man first choosed to sin, the devil was given power pollute the hearts of man for all time. This is why you see the world gradually generally getting worse and worse morally. Now I'm still perfecting this message but the point of the whole thing is that Jesus Christ and the sacrafice he made for you is the only resolve for you to enter Heaven where the the God who passionatly loves you lives. The way of Jesus starts out with you agknowleging that you have evil in your heart and asking the Lord Jesus to step out of heaven and step into your heart and make you as pure as he is and that he will become Lord of your life forever. After that, you are set apart as a member of his houshold. And when death comes, he will come to you and call you by name and bring you to heaven with him. And at that point etenity is before you. Which is as an intire beach compare to a tiny sand fragment of time set apart for your life. And as for your life on earth this is your general purpose: to grow closer in this relationship with God. And to love on people." ~David Johnston (my cousin)
